Brian O'Neill, CFP®
President, Partner
Brian O'Neill, a Certified Financial Planner™, is the founder and President of Cahaba Wealth Management, Inc. He founded the firm in late 2009 with the goal of focusing the firm's efforts to provide customized financial planning, tax and estate planning, and active investment advisory services to corporate executives, business owners and high net worth individuals. Brian specializes in the areas of retirement transition planning, executive compensation and investment management.
Brian began his career in private banking with Bank of America in 1995. Eighteen months later, he joined Creative Financial Group where he spent over 13 years. During that time, he opened and ran the company's Birmingham office and later served as Senior Vice President over company operations in Atlanta. It was during this time that Brian cultivated his passion for working with individual clients, while also leading retirement seminars and workshops for executives and employees of AT&T, Southern Company, Equifax and other local companies.
Brian graduated from Rhodes College in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. He serves on the Rhodes Red & Black Executive Committee and has also served as a member of the Rhodes alumni volunteer group. He is involved with Habitat for Humanity through his membership in the Cathedral of Christ the King in Atlanta and serves as the president of the Loring Heights Neighborhood Association. Brian is also a member of the Georgia Chapter of the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, and he serves on the board of Soccer in the Streets.
Brian and his wife Laura live in midtown Atlanta with their daughter Isabella and sons Duncan and Tanner.
Henry Wideman, CFP®
Vice President, Partner
Henry Wideman, a Certified Financial Planner™, is Vice President and a Partner of Cahaba Wealth Management. Henry joined Cahaba in March 2012. His primary focus is to develop and implement financial strategies for retirees, executives, physicians, attorneys, and other high net worth individuals. Henry specializes in providing financial solutions and investment management for those clients experiencing a life transition such as retirement, survivorship, divorce, sale of a business, or family inheritance.
Henry graduated from The University of Alabama in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Family Financial Planning. Upon graduation, he immediately began his career with Cooper, Jones, and McLeland, a successful wealth management firm in Fairfax, Virginia. One year later, he joined Creative Financial Group in Atlanta, Georgia, where he began working with both active and retired Southern Company and AT&T employees. This experience in Atlanta inspired his passion for developing and maintaining long term relationships with clients and their families. The firm then expanded into Birmingham where Henry eventually became a Vice President and presided over company operations in Birmingham. Henry's total tenure with Creative Financial Group lasted 14 years.
Henry is currently a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Registered Investment Advisor. He has also carried many other licenses in the securities and insurance areas of financial planning.
Henry is an active member of Trussville First Baptist Church and has coached many youth soccer, basketball, football, and baseball teams. He is also a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Henry lives in Trussville, Alabama with his wife Kim and their 3 children, Carson, Kaleigh, and Jackson.
Will Jackson, CFP®
CCO, Partner
William Jackson joined Cahaba Wealth Management in May 2016 as the managing partner of the firm's Nashville office. Will joined with the goal of expanding Cahaba's proven efforts of providing customized financial planning, tax and estate planning, and active investment advisory services to corporate executives, business owners and high net worth individuals. Over the years, William has cultivated his passion for working with individual clients who are seeking proven financial solutions to their retirement and investments needs that are consistent with their risk profile, time horizon and income needs.
William began his career in New York with Bankers Trust Company in 1994 as an analyst on the international equity team. Two and a half years later, he moved to Nashville and joined Equitable Securities where he spent 4 years, followed by 11 years as Managing Director at Avondale Partners. In early 2013, he joined Iroquois Capital Group as a Managing Director with responsibility for managing the Iroquois Financial Partners II fund. William has held positions in portfolio management, research, sales and trading for both retail and institutional clients. He previously held FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 55, and 65 licenses. William is currently a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Registered Investment Advisor. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. William graduated from Rhodes College in 1994 with a Bachelor's degree in Economics.
He currently serves as a board member for Purpose Preparatory Academy and Head Usher at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He is a former board member of the Fannie Battle Day Home and ACG (TN).
Will and his wife Molly live in Pegram, TN. Their son Fred is currently serving in the U.S. Army and their daughter Sadie is continuing the family tradition by attending Rhodes College.
Chris Conkell, CFP®
COO, Partner
Chris Conkell is a financial adviser in Cahaba Wealth Management's Atlanta office. Chris works to understand his clients' financial planning needs, evaluate potential options and clearly explain alternative investment solutions to help clients work toward achieving financial independence.
Chris joined Cahaba in June 2011, after interning with the company in the summer of 2010. Chris works with individual clients throughout the Southeast. He holds a Certified Financial Planner™ designation and is a Registered Investment Advisor.
Chris graduated from Rhodes College in 2011, where he majored in Business Administration with a focus on tax and accounting. Chris was also the captain of the Rhodes baseball team his final two years. In his free time he enjoys reading, playing softball, attending Braves games, and exploring Atlanta's dining scene. He currently lives with his wife, Sarah, in midtown Atlanta.
Don Keeney, CFA, CFP®
CIO, Senior Advisor
Don Keeney is a financial advisor in the Nashville office. He joined Cahaba Wealth in 2021, with the goal of expanding Cahaba's proven efforts of providing customized financial planning, tax and estate planning, and active investment advisory services to corporate executives, business owners and high net worth individuals. In addition, he is assuming the role of Chief Investments Officer (CIO) leading the Investment Committee.
Belief in a client-centric model brought Don to Cahaba Wealth. Providing in-depth, customized, proactive financial planning services to clients is his passion. Don translates client's life and financial goals into a practicable and understandable financial plan to provide each client a sense of commitment and resolve in achieving goals.
Don holds a Certified Financial Planner™ designation, is a Registered Investment Advisor, holds the Chartered Financial Analyst™ designation, and is a member of the CFA Society of Nashville. He graduated from Rhodes College with a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Mathematics and graduated from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University with a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in finance.
He began his career with Mastrapasqua Asset Management as an equity analyst. Don joined Hilliard Lyons Trust Company as a Portfolio Manager, then returned to Nashville as a Portfolio Manager for M Capital Advisors. It was in this role that he began to see the value of the financial planning process and introduced it as a main part of the investment management firm's offerings.
Don lives in Nolensville, Tennessee and enjoys running, playing soccer and golf, and chasing after his three children.
Louis Williams, CPA, CFP®
Senior Advisor
Louis joined Cahaba Wealth Management in 2018. As a Financial Advisor, Louis seeks to construct comprehensive financial plans and provide intentional client service. He spends time educating clients on how tax-advantaged financial plans can help them reach their financial goals. He enjoys the process of analyzing each client's set of financial circumstances and strives to simplify complex topics in order to provide clarity and comfort.
Previously, Louis worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a part of its Assurance Practice in Nashville, Tennessee. During his time with PwC, Louis earned the Certified Public Accountant designation. The certification process and his client experience at PwC gave Louis exposure to a wide array of business, finance and accounting concepts that provided an excellent foundation for his career as a Financial Advisor.
Louis graduated from the University of Alabama where he obtained a bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting. Away from the office, Louis has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys the occasional round of golf. Louis and his wife Haley reside in Vestavia Hills, AL with their daughter Sadie and son Reece.
Walton Cobb, CFP®
Lead Advisor
Walton Cobb is a Financial Advisor in Cahaba Wealth Management's Birmingham office. Walton's passion is to assist families in reaching their financial goals through the highest level of service and personal care.
Walton began her career in 2007 as a client service associate at Rochdale Investment Management, a boutique mutual fund company, located in New York, NY. She moved back to her home state in pursuit of a career in family financial planning, where she joined Creative Financial Group as a Financial Planning Analyst in 2010. There, she progressed into a relationship manager providing financial guidance through tax planning, investment management, cash flow management, retirement planning, and insurance needs analysis. Walton is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Financial Planning (both from the University of Alabama).
Walton and her husband Maury have two children, Maggie and Wil. They are members of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Birmingham. Walton is a sustainer of the Birmingham Ballet Guild and is on Children's Hospital of Alabama's Committee for the Future. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling with family and attending Alabama football games.
Josh Hegland, CFP®
Associate Advisor
Josh joined Cahaba Wealth Management in January of 2020. As an Associate Advisor, Josh works closely with Senior Advisors to craft and deliver financial plans, and meet the service needs of existing clients. He enjoys working with clients on complex financial matters to provide clarity and financial peace of mind.
Josh began his career at LCG Associates, an institutional investment consulting firm, as a performance analyst. He gained experience in providing research and analysis in support of investment services for large institutional clients.
Josh completed the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business CFP® Certification Education Program, and is a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner. He graduated from Georgia Southern University where he obtained a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Finance. He serves as an alumni mentor for Georgia Southern University's Student Managed Investment Fund, is a member of The Shepherd Center Junior Committee, and attends and serves at Atlanta Westside Presbyterian Church. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, the outdoors, and reading. Josh and his wife, Callie, live in Atlanta, GA.
Robert Eifert, CFP®
Associate Advisor
Robert joined Cahaba Wealth Management in 2020. As an Associate Advisor, Robert supports clients by performing a detailed review of client situations and constructing financial plans. He works alongside the lead advisors to ensure each plan is tailored for the client's specific needs and fits with their financial goals. Robert is intentional about uncovering and analyzing all pertinent factors in order to produce a financial plan that clients can be confident with.
Previously, Robert worked for Fidelity Investments as an Advisor Consultant in Dallas, Texas. Here, he represented the array of products and services that Fidelity offered to Investment Advisor clients across the country. This has given him significant exposure to the Wealth Management business and how various advisors have worked to meet client needs. This experience has also given Robert a solid foundation with portfolio construction and investment analysis. Robert previously held the Series 7 and 63 Designations with Fidelity Investments.
Robert is a Certified Financial Planner™ and is a Registered Investment Advisor. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Outside of work, Robert enjoys the outdoors, watching SEC sports, and playing golf. Robert lives in Birmingham, AL with his wife, Hannah and their basset hound, Brutus.
Ashley Bowling
Marketing Coordinator, Financial Planning Analyst
Ashley Bowling is a Financial Planning Analyst and Marketing Coordinator at Cahaba Wealth Management. She holds the FINRA Series 65 license and is a registered investment advisor representative.
Ashley joined Cahaba Wealth in June 2020 upon graduation from Auburn University. At Auburn, she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and General Business minor. Ashley concentrated on the practical applications of mathematical methods and quantitative problem solving techniques. Her undergraduate focus was on data analysis, model formulation, and stochastic processes, especially in applications related to business. In addition to her studies, Ashley worked for the Auburn University Mathematics Department as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant and was involved in the Association for Women in Mathematics.
Originally from Boston, MA, Ashley enjoys cheering on her hometown sports teams and the Auburn Tigers. In her free time, she loves travel and exploring new restaurants. Ashley lives in Birmingham, AL with her husband, Temple and their golden retriever, Goose.
C.J. Laws
Financial Planning Analyst
C.J. Laws is a Financial Planning Analyst in Cahaba Wealth Management's Nashville office. C.J. works closely with lead advisors to develop and implement customized financial plans.
C.J. joined Cahaba Wealth in June 2021 as an intern following his graduation from Rhodes College with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and a minor in Statistics. His studies consisted of data analysis and model development in relation to practical business applications. Along with his studies, C.J. was a student-athlete as a member of the Rhodes College football team.
Born and raised in Nashville, TN, C.J. is excited to be able to support his local teams in person. He enjoys staying active through sports and exercise along with spending time with his friends enjoying downtown Nashville.
Maggie Truitt
Financial Planning Analyst
Maggie Truitt is a Financial Planning Analyst for Cahaba Wealth Management in the Nashville office. As an analyst, she works closely with lead advisors to develop and implement tailored financial plans. She appreciates the personalization and accuracy required to customize each client plan to best fit their specific needs.
Maggie joined Cahaba Wealth Management in June 2022 following graduation from Xavier University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and a Bachelor's of Art in Spanish. Maggie's interests in applied mathematical models allowed for specific development in her quantitative reasoning skills. While attending Xavier, Maggie was a member of Pi Mu Epsilon, served as the Spanish Major Declaration Mentor, and worked as a Committee Co-Chair for Xavier's Student Activities Council.
Originally from Birmingham, AL, Maggie enjoys cheering on Auburn football and the Tennessee Titans. In her spare time, she loves hiking, trying new restaurants, and exploring her new home of Nashville.
Charlotte Disley
Financial Planning Analyst
Charlotte Disley joined Cahaba Wealth Management in August 2022 as a Financial Planning Analyst in the Atlanta Office. She holds the FINRA Series 65 license and is a registered investment advisor representative. As an analyst, Charlotte works closely with lead advisors to develop and implement tailored financial plans.
Originally born and raised in England, Charlotte moved to the U.S. in 2015 to attend Oglethorpe University. She graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. Alongside her studies, Charlotte was a student-athlete as a member of Oglethorpe's women's tennis team.
Prior to joining Cahaba, Charlotte spent nearly 3 years working at Global Payments Inc. in their Benefits Department. There, she gained understanding of the ins and outs of employer provided benefit plans. Charlotte has also spent time coaching tennis, and continues to pursue her passion of playing tennis competitively as a member of USTA and ALTA teams in the Atlanta area.
Charlotte currently lives in Buckhead, GA, with her husband Hunter and their cat Luna. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the Atlanta dining scene, attending sporting events and travelling.
Crawford Asman
Financial Planning Analyst
Crawford Asman joined Cahaba Wealth Management in June 2023 as a Financial Planning Analyst in the Atlanta office. As an analyst, he works closely with lead advisors to develop and implement customized financial plans.
Crawford graduated from the University of Denver with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a focus on finance and data analytics. There, he became proficient with econometric software to model financial data through valuation ratios and regression models. Alongside his studies, Crawford also attained his Financial Paraplanner (FPQP) Designation and was elected as the VP of Finance for his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi.
While born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Crawford also lived abroad in London, England during his formative years. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling, and learning to cook.
Wade Merritt
Financial Planning Analyst
Wade Merritt is a Financial Planning Analyst at Cahaba Wealth Management. He holds the FINRA Series 66 license and is a registered investment advisor representative. Wade values working closely with lead advisors to develop and implement customized financial plans that are specifically tailored to each client's situation, allowing them to navigate the shifting waters of life knowing their financial future is secure.
Wade joined Cahaba Wealth in June 2023 after having been in the industry for 10 years. He previously spent time helping agents outline strategies for their clients and advising families on developing a financial blueprint. Wade understands the importance of technical expertise when assisting clients plan for their future.
Although originally from Hattiesburg, MS, Wade is happy to call Birmingham, AL his home. Wade, his wife Ashley, and their son Fisher are blessed to be members of Mountain Brook Community Church. Along with being involved there, he enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and cheering for the Ole Miss Rebels.
Joe Bird
Financial Planning Analyst
Joe Bird joined Cahaba Wealth Management in August 2024 as a Financial Planning Analyst in the Birmingham office. As an analyst, he works closely with lead advisors to develop and implement financial plans. He enjoys learning about each client's goals and helping them achieve them using accurate analysis.
Joe was born and raised in Birmingham and graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance where his studies consisted of business analytics and financial modeling. While in school, he was elected as an officer of his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order. Before coming to Cahaba, he interned at ServisFirst Bank in Birmingham and eventually started as a Compliance Analyst where he learned the ins and outs of the banking industry.
Outside of work, Joe enjoys spending his time with his friends and family, travelling to Auburn football games, and playing with he and his girlfriend Shelby's dachshunds, Kenny and Rosey.
Stetson Ponder
Financial Planning Analyst
Stetson Ponder joined Cahaba Wealth Management as a Financial Planning Analyst. In his role as an analyst, Stetson collaborates closely with advisors to create and deliver customized financial plans. He enjoys the attention to detail required to tailor a client's financial plan to fit their individual needs.
Stetson is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. With a keen interest in financial markets and financial modeling, Stetson is excited to bring his expertise to the Atlanta, having relocated to the city in August 2024.
Outside of professional pursuits, he enjoys staying active and exploring Atlanta with friends, trying new restaurants and cuisines, and cheering on his beloved Crimson Tide.
Andrea Evangelesta
Senior Client Service Associate
Andrea Evangelesta works as the executive assistant to Brian O'Neill, president of Cahaba Wealth Management, and office manager of the Atlanta office. Andrea began her career at Cahaba Wealth Management in March 2017, after spending four years at a concierge medical practice in Sandy Springs. Andrea focuses on providing high-level administrative support to the advisors, daily operations within the company, and tending to the day-to-day needs of clients.
Andrea is originally from Greenville, SC and graduated from the University of South Carolina with a B.A. in Sociology. Andrea currently lives in downtown Atlanta with her husband Nathan and their three dogs.
Meredith Fayard
Senior Client Service Associate
Meredith Fayard is a senior client service associate and works with Henry Wideman, vice president of Cahaba Wealth Management and Operations Manager of the Birmingham office. Meredith brings more than 20 years of operational and client service experience in financial management. Her focus is providing clients with peace of mind while utilizing systems to manage efficiencies that provide solutions.
Meredith earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Environmental Sciences, Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Family Financial Planning from the University of Alabama. When not working, she likes to spend time with her husband, daughter and two rescue dogs anywhere with water or in her own backyard.
Michelle Collier
Executive Assistant
Michelle Collier works as the executive assistant/office manager at Cahaba Wealth Management in the Birmingham office. Michelle began her career at Cahaba Wealth Management in January 2023 after being part of the accounting team at a multi-family real estate developer in Birmingham. Michelle strives to provide excellent administrative support to the advisors, to serve to the day-to-day needs of clients, and to assist daily operations within the company.
Michelle is originally from Auburn, Alabama, and graduated from the Auburn University with a B.A. in Mass Communication. She currently lives in Birmingham with her daughters Reese and Wynn. When not at work, Michelle enjoys her daughters' sporting events and spending time with family, watching Auburn athletics, trying new restaurants and shopping.
Landon Cobbs
Administrative Assistant
Landon Cobbs currently is an Administrative Assistant at Cahaba Wealth Management's Nashville branch. Bringing expertise in administrative support, she transitioned from her prior position at a boutique business management firm to Cahaba in April 2024. In her previous role, she provided comprehensive support to her team, utilizing Quickbooks and offering valuable assistance in bill processing, invoicing, and payment procedures. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in History from Sewanee: The University of the South, her academic focus centered around behavioral analysis and decision-making, culminating in a thesis addressing mental health stigma reduction across various communities. During her time at Sewanee, she was actively involved in philanthropic activities and event coordination within a sorority.
Originating from Birmingham, AL, Landon has also resided in San Francisco and Seattle before settling in Nashville. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities such as walking and white water kayaking, as well as spending time with friends and family. Eager to contribute to the Cahaba team, she is committed to continuous learning and growth within the organization.
